What is a Certified Translation?
If your document requires a professional or certified translation, you have four choices to accomplish this task.
A friend, relative or co-worker can translate the document for you. This might or might not cost you anything, but it might not meet the legal requirements of the final recipient of the document and result in a rejection of the document. The translator adds a certificate to the translated document. This certificate states the translation is accurate both for content and legality in the language and country that the document will be used. Finally, the translator or manager of the translation company attests to the accuracy of the translation in the presence of a notary. You can hire one of our Certified SWORN Translators who can issue a SWORN Translation. This is most often seen in Spain where it is carried out by a person known as a Traductor-Intérprete Jurado and is authorized by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Union and Cooperation. If your document is going to one of these other countries check to see if a SWORN translation is required: Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Greece, Austria, Poland, Romaina, Slovakia.

How long does it take to get the document translated?
From receipt at AZ Roving Notary to received at your doorstep (or designated address) varies depending on the number of pages in the document and the final document shipping method. Completion is also heavily dependent on the language pair (i.e. English to Arabic may take longer than English to Italian). A standard document can take only a few days. More complex projects can take longer.
Certain times of the year are busier than others. Holidays and vacation time can be busier with families requiring travel permissions translated for children. Graduation time leads to more diplomas and transcripts being translated.
It's important to allow enough time to have the document go through its complete process by setting realistic deadlines. Faster turnaround times usually require a rush charge.
