Remote Online Notary (RON)

An AZ commissioned remote online notary must be physically located within the state of Arizona to legally complete a remote notarization. The signer can be located anywhere in the world as long as they have the right technology, pass the ID Verification process, including a knowledge based authentication quiz, credential analysis & facial recognition. A trusted document tamper-proof x509 certificate seals the document and is added to an audit trail into the official record of the transaction.

Do you need a notary commissioned in another state?  Not a problem - we have relationships with notaries in all 50 states that we have vetted to meet our strict standards. For international signers we offer notarial services for US Citizens and for citizens from a foreign country.

IS ONLINE NOTARIZATION VALID IN ALL 50 STATES?

If your document is notarized by a currently commissioned Arizona notary using online technology known as RON (Remote Online Notarization), it is valid in all 50 states, US Territories and Washington DC.  This is true as well for our contracted notaries commissioned in all other US States. 

However, it is up to the signer to determine if the receiving party such as a recorder, court, corporation, state agency or any other document recipient will accept the notarization completed with the RON process. This is not the responsibility of the notary or of AZ Roving Notary to make this determination.

Not all notaries can notarize a document for a signer who is not a US Citizen or lacking a valid US ID. However, we have notaries on our team that can legally notarize your document for any nationality using biometrics.

You are contracting services with our company The AZ Roving Notary Agency.  Our notary fees and mileage are regulated by the State of Arizona and paid by us the directly to the Notary.  Our Arizona contracted notaries are paid the State Regulated Fee of $10.00/notarial act. For Mobile Notary and iPEN transactions, our contracted notaries are paid the State Regulated Fee for mileage at $0.67/mile.  Our out-of-state notaries are paid according to the laws of their commissioned states. The Agency minimum price is $75.00.
